Steven E. Lommatzsch, MD, received his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Virginia Health System and fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care at the University of North Carolina Health System. Dr. Lommatzsch is board-certified in Critical Care and Pulmonary Medicine. His areas of clinical interest include COPD, asthma, bronchiectasis, cystic fibrosis (CF), and general pulmonary. Dr. Lommatzsch is involved in Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency Program, Asthma Treatment Program (Adult), COPD Program, Cystic Fibrosis Program (Adult), and the Bronchiectasis Treatment Program. He has practiced at National Jewish Health since 2010 and is currently an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine, in the Department of Medicine at National Jewish Health in Denver, Colorado.

His clinical expertise has been focused on airway diseases and, as such, he is well-known locally, regionally, and nationally for disease entities such as COPD, Asthma, and Bronchiectasis.
